What We Do

Aqua Farms

• specializes in mariculture in the unique environment of the GCC countries: highly saline seawater, the high ambient and water temperatures, and specific coastal soils, such as subkha.

• takes an integrated approach to sustainable development of the clean waters of the GCC, incorporating best practices in mariculture with respect to animal health and nutrition, water conservation, pond feed and fertilization management, erosion and pollution controls, efficient use of local resources,  and worker training and safety.

• supports corporate responsibility in the nascent mariculture field in the developing countries of the GCC through its cooperation with local government and international authorities to develop mariculture guidelines and regulations and in its integrated approach to training for specific industry jobs for subsequent employment.

• offers assistance to countries, companies, and projects that wish to develop the marine resources of the region.  Potential projects can produce protein foods for people and for animals, additives for foods and cosmetics, and goods used in the growing field of nutraceuticals

• also develops aquaculture-related projects in Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the Arab Authority for Agriculture Investment and Development and the Saudi Offset Limited Partnership.
